„What are your new year's resolutions?“, Bella asked while they watched the fireworks. „More honesty“, Charlie thought. „More sports“, he said.

He couldn‘t stop staring at the waterfall. Never before had he witnessed such an amazing display of the power of nature.

He laughed. Then he startet to cry. He shook his head. Then he sighed. "How long?"

“This is a dream, right?“, I asked cautiously.‌ ‌“Smart little guy”, Hemingway said and ordered a mojito at the bar.‌

"I'm a hopeless case", Patrick said to his colleague. "I'm lost for new jokes. A comedian who cannot come up with a new joke!"

She noticed a man on the other side of the road. He was just standing there, staring at the distance, apparently doing nothing. She waited for some minutes, but he didn't move.

He turned and faced the other man. "Hey, you!" "You talkin' to me?"

He tried not to yawn. But he did. "Let me drive", she said. "Don't be stupid. You're tired."

The stranger dusted off his clothes and walked up to the bar, where he ordered a drink. "Where ya' headin'?", the barkeeper asked, eyeing him carefully.

Suddenly, I found myself in a wide, open space, surrounded by an almost blinding whiteness. "Is this heaven?", I asked the being next to me
